File organization and search

View as Markdown

WhizBoard provides API-backed file lists with name search, sorting, and supported filters. Labels can be assigned to firm files and are available in the file management experience. The same files can appear in My Files and a client’s workspace.

Status: File-name search, sorting, pagination, and labels are implemented. Folder navigation and some advanced-search controls are partial.

What is available

  • Search uploaded files by name.
  • Sort and paginate the results supported by the current list view.
  • Apply labels to a file and use available label information when reviewing lists.
  • Search the firm client directory separately from file search.

What the controls do not imply

The product does not currently provide folder navigation. Some fields shown in the advanced-search panel are disabled, and the list/grid control does not create a separate grid view. These unfinished surfaces are tracked on Feature availability.

The working list controls are not an authorization boundary. File visibility and access are evaluated by the API operation; see Files and uploads for the relevant access caveat.
